"Ondulation" console
Circa 1950
Console with a polished brass structure and a black marble top.
The tubular metal stems draw an undulation pattern and shape the base.
A gilt brass ball inside each curve give rhythm to the whole.
The legs are linked with two tubular metal stems gathered with a semi-spheric ball, that can be fixed on the wall.
The top in black marble is set into a metal structure that is fixed to the wall.
Height 96 cm (37 3⁄4 in) - Lenght 100 cm (39 1⁄4 in) - Depth 22 cm (8 1⁄2 in)
Provenance:
- Private collection, Belgium where there was also a circular pedestal table from the samel model in brass.
