Jacques Quinet,
Pair of table lamps
Jacques Quinet (1918-1992)
Pair of table lamps
Circa 1960-61
air of gilt brass lamps, "Casquette" shaped based on a rectangular base. This shape was very appreciated by Jacques Quinet who created several versions of this model. The important "Casquette" which is also the reflector contrasts with the narrowness of the base and offers a game of equilibrium. This pair of lamps comes from a special order, circa 1960-61 for a Company located in the South of France. All the furniture pieces were in mahogany and fawn leather, these lamps which were display on the desks higlighted these shades of browns.
