Lamp in plaster with a patina representing a stylised woman’s head on its original base.
The ‘Masque’ or ‘Masque coiff ure’ model was created in 1933 for Jean-Michel Frank.
Signed and numbered 'AG 04'.
Work referenced by the Alberto and Annette Giacometti Foundation in its online database under number 4585.
Our piece comes with its certifi cate from the Giacometti Foundation which doesn’t mentionany restoration.
As part of their collaboration with the decorator Jean-Michel Frank, the Giacometti brothers were able to ‘create a piece of furniture that wecould see as a sculpture.’ (Françoise Francisci).

Height 29,3 cm (11 ½ in)

- Mr. D., important collector of Jean-Michel Frank who is mentioned in the two monograph dedicated to the artist.
- Thence by descent to Ms R.,South of France.
- Private collection, Paris, 16th district, where tere were a set of boxes and several lightings by Jean-Michel
Frank.
