Pedestal table

Elegant tripod pedestal table in varnished wood.
The base features a spacer shelf underlined by a slender baguette.
The overall shape of the piece is reminiscent of a Athenienne, standing on three curved legs.
The circular top is adorned with a radial marquetry motif.

Height 53 cm (20 3⁄4 in) - Diameter 38 cm (15 in)

Provenance:
- Appartment decorated by André Arbus alongside Vadim Androusov & Henri Parayre, for one of his friends, circa 1940, Toulouse, France.
