Pair of armchairs with sloping backs, cylindrical legs with tapered ends, ash wood crossbars and support bars.
The seats and backs are straw-filled.
Model ‘N°21’ later known as ‘Chamrousse’.
Designed around 1935 and produced from 1947 onwards by Equipement de la Maison, then by CBC, Steph Simon and finally Sentou.

Height 78 cm (30 3⁄4 in) - Width 54 cm (21 1⁄4 in) - Depth 65 cm (25 5⁄8 in)

Provenance :
- Acquired around 1965–1968, most likely from the Steph Simon Gallery.
- Acquired from the above by a religious congregation, probably during the refurbishment of the ground floor of the building that houses it, France.
- Acquired from the above by the Chastel-Maréchal Gallery.
