"Menta" totem
1986 (model designed in 1967)

This totem is composed of six elem ents made of polychrome glazed earthenware, which bears quite vivid colours.
They are piled up on a cubic base made of chipboard covered with white plastic laminate.
This model was designed in 1967 but realised later, in 1986, for the "Mirabili" collection commissioned by Sergio Cammilli.
This piece is one of the artist proofs (P/A) made by Bitossi, Montelupo, besides the twenty pieces produced for the collection by Mirabili.
The base bears a metal plate on which is engraved: "Sottsass. Menta. P/A. Mirabili. Italy".
