"Nilo" vase
1983

This vase is composed of several piled-up circular elements made of white porcelain, partially glazed in pink. It seems they give form to a reversed light bulb standing on its base.
This model was designed in 1983 for the Memphis group.
The inscription “Ettore Sottsass per Memphis“ is painted in black in a cavity made under the base.

Height 31 cm (12 1⁄4 in) - Maximum diameter 14 cm (5 1⁄2 in)
