Eugène Printz, Six-door sideboard

Eugène Printz (1879-1948)

Six-door sideboard
Design created circa 1940

Rectilinear sycamore sideboard mounted on a base in hollow.
The large side shows six tall curved doors which are circled with aureum patina brass that thus differentiate them from the light wood.
Likewise the central body stands out from the base thanks to a patinated brass border placed on the lower edge of the body.
The locks of each door face each other by two.
On the side, the pattern drawn by the doors on the front is alluded to with a wood piece of the same shape.
This piece is well-referenced in Eugène Printz’s work. By the way it bears the monogram of the artist at the bottom right.
