"Oiseau d’Argent" rocking chair
Circa 1990
Rocking chair in the shape of a stylised bird in brushed aluminium.
The backrest, seat and armrests, covered with silver leather, are formed by a slender neck and delicate outstreched wings.
The whole piece rests on two curved wooden runners.
The leather and the wood runners have been remade after the original model.
Signed with the artist’s monogram and marked ‘Lalanne’ and ‘Artcurial’.
