Ovoid lamp in turquoise crackled glazed stoneware with a scale-like decoration and adorned in the centre of the body with a continuous frieze of simplified fish and marine animals on a brown slip background.
Signed ‘Jean Besnard’ incised under the base.
Ceramic height 29,5 cm (11 3⁄4 in) - Diameter 25 cm (9 3⁄4 in) - Total height with lampshade 62 cm (24 1⁄2 in) - Lampshade diameter 42 cm (16 1⁄2 in)
