Sculpture representing a Beef in chamotte clay, modeled, scarified, enameled in polychrome - white, black and yellow and resting on a wooden base.
It is shown lying down, withone foreleg resting on the ground, and the outline of its muscles is enhanced by fine black lines, sometimes decorated with yellow applats.
Height 65 cm (25 5/8 in) - Length 130 cm (51 1/8 in)
Provenance :
- Probably created around 1965 for the Antibes cathedral’s nativity scene.
- Private collection, France.
