Sculpture representing a Shepherd in chamotte clay, modeled, scarified and enameled in polychrome - white, black, broxn, blue and green.
He is shown with bronwn skin and carrying a lamb in his arms.
Signed ‘Jean Derval’ on the base.
Height 128 cm (50 3/8 in)
Provenance :
- Probably created around 1965 for the Antibes cathedral’s nativity scene.
- Private collection, France.
