Four-leaf folding screen in lacquer and silver leaf on wood, decorated in light relief with birds and deer in an enchanted forest landscape.
Signed ‘JEAN DUNAND’ in the decoration.
This model was exhibited at the Galerie Georges Petit under number 13 in 1929 and comes from the prestigious collection of Princess Marie Bonaparte, the last descendant of Napoleon I, Princess of Greece and Denmark, a pioneer of French psychoanalysis and a great patron of the arts.
