"Ecusson" pair of bridge armchairs
Circa 1948

Pair of ‘Ecusson’ bridge armchairs with oak frames resting on four slender conical legs, slightly curved outwards at the rear.
The soberly rounded armrests extend the line of the front legs.
The seat, comfortable but visually restrained, has a backrest that is narrow at the base and slightly flared at the top, both re-upholstered in a vibrant red velvet.

Height 84 cm (33 1/8 in) - Width 54,5 cm (21 1/2 in) - Depth 63,5 cm (25 in)
