Important chandelier with a metallic structure and transparent glass pearls.
Produced for the Compagnie des Arts Français, an interior design company founded in 1919 by Louis Süe and André Mare.
If their activity stopped in 1927, the company throughout its existence has participated in the French decoration revival and especially in the Art deco style; and particularly with their participation in the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels in 1925.
The Compagnie des Arts Français was well-known for the high quality of its production, frequently designed in collaboration with the artists.
