Large sycamore table.
The rectangular top with rounded corners is set on a withdrawn moulded belt.
This top stands on four spindle-shaped legs linked in pairs by a circular brace. Each leg is adorned with a mask carved from the wood by Vadim Androusov.
Signed ‘André Arbus’ on the inside of one leg and on the underside of the top.
This model won André Arbus the Blumenthal prize in 1934.
