Lantern
Circa 1945
Important lantern in gilded patina wrought iron with a cylindric body and curved glasses.
The body of the lantern has six lights in shape of cone, ending with spark, linked to a ball holding a central stem. The four curved glasses are set in a cylindric wrought iron frame. From this central stem, four metal sections with an arabesque movement hold the cylindric structure. The top of this stem presents a thicker ribbed section and the cache-bélière is knurled.
This piece comes from a private mansion built in the 18th century located by the Geneva Lake.
This piece comes with its certificate by Didier Poillerat, son and right-holder of the artist.
