Desk and its armchair
circa 1960-61
A substantial rectangular section desk in cherry wood veneer. Asymmetrical in shape, it comprises a cabinet with three drawers on the left-hand side and a top that extends out at a cantilever to the right-hand side, supported by a geometric T-shaped base. A narrow drawer runs along the base beneath the worktop. The handles are made of brass.
This desk is accompanied by a matching armchair in sipo wood with a geometric profile, comprising a flat rectangular backrest and two solid armrests. The tubular legs are saber-shaped at the back and set within two bronze ‘L’-shaped feet at the front.
