"Sphère" coffee table
Circa 1948

This "Sphère" coffee table has a base made of four spheres in metal with a gilded patina.
The cylindric bended stems making the spheres remind a planet in orbit.
These spheres are standing on a square travertine base.
On this base a metal corner piece holding the original travertine top.

Height 34 cm (13 1⁄2 in) - Width 150 cm (59 in) - Depth 70 cm (27 1⁄2 in)

Provenance:
Private collection in which there was a pair of "Sphere" table lamps as well as an "Antibes" floorlamp.
