Pair of wall sconces, each comprising a cream-lacquered metal basket tied with a patinated metal ribbon, featuring a bouquet of flowers and leafy scrollwork.
The flowers are made from cut glass beads.
At the centre of this design is a cut-glass parrot.
This decoration is set upon an original mirror with bevelled edges, secured by screws to an oval wooden backing.
These sconces are remarkable not only for their intricate decoration but also for their size,
standing 90 cm tall.
