Pair of low curule-style stools in burl wood veneered on mahogany.
Each piece is signed with the artist’s monogram under the seat.
This model appears in several notable events in the art scene of the 20th century.

Provenance :
- Private collection, Paris, France, purchased in the nineties at Drouot with an expertise from Mr. Félix Marcilhac.
- Stayed in this same private collection where there were numerous pieces of collectible design, including a 'Figure' floor lamp by Alberto Giacometti.
- Purchased by the gallery Chastel-Maréchal direclty from the above.
