Obelisk
Circa 1930
Mirrored glass obelisk standing on a square black varnished base.
This obelisk reminds the shape of a pagoda with several steps topped with a glass sphere.
The glass slabs are painted with a "trompe l’œil" decor of a wall with bricks and windows of different style at the floor.
This objet reminds the talent of Serge Roche to create pieces with great fantasy, drawing his inpiration in the Barocco madness of the 17th century.
Height 59 cm (23 1⁄4 in) - Base 16 x 16 cm (6 1⁄4 x 6 1⁄4 in)
